Phillip Simon came up with the Just Eat Half™ method when he wanted to lose weight but didn’t want to give up eating all the food groups, or take supplements. Calorie counting seemed to complicated. He felt that he ate a healthy diet, just too much. So, Simon started to just eat half, and lost 18 pounds in two months. He has kept off the weight since 2002. Simon has consulted a behavioral psychologist and a registered nutritionist who both say that the Just Eat Half™ diet method has merit.
Phillip Simon is a Web developer, photographer, and the graduate program director of the interactive media program at Quinnipiac University. He lives in Woodbridge, Connecticut, with his wife and three children.
